Customer Service/Front Office

Phone Operator

This position will be responsible for providing a "live call" atmosphere to meet patient's needs and direct them to the appropriate person during business hours. Patient Care Tech

Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio is currently hiring for a Patient Care Technician (PCT) Float. Duties may include; but are not limited to,

  • Preparing rooms for patients
  • Ensuring that the room is clean and proper equipment is set up for patient's needs
  • Assisting patients to appropriate clinical rooms
  • Collecting Meaningful Use information
  • Occasionally performing historian duties (collecting past medical history and social history from patient by phone prior to appointment and directing to appropriate person)
  • Ensure a clean and safe patient care environment
  • Responsible for obtaining vitals
  • Data entry
  • Other Duties As Assigned

Candidate will be expected to travel to various office locations (Greenville, Sidney, Centerville and Dayton and other locations as needed). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience as a PCT. Candidate must be flexible to work some Saturdays. Billing/Collections Specialist

Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio is currently searching for a Medical Billing/Collections Specialist for our Little York location in Dayton, OH. Duties include; but are not limited to:

  • Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses occur.
  • Utilizes and communicates both over the phone and in person with patients, collection agencies, insurance companies and staff.
  • Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures; reporting compliance issues
  • Maintains quality results by following standards
  • Protects organization values by keeping collection information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a high volume environment.
