John S. Urse, DO, FAOAO

Orthopedic Surgery

I am board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Association. I am especially interested in arthroscopic shoulder, knee and hip surgery and have had additional training in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and arthroscopic hip surgery. My articles have been published in the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Journal of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Arthroplasty, and Journal of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. I am conducting ongoing research on gluteal tendon biomechanics and have lectured nationally on gluteus medius hip tendon repairs.

Luke Williamson (PA-C)

Born and raised in Miamisburg, Ohio, Luke attended Kettering College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2014. After graduation, Luke attended the University of Dayton for his Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He has been involved with multiple medical mission trips and is looking forward to many more in the future. Luke is currently a National Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Urse and Dr. Saunders to provide excellent patient care.

Kayla Fryman (PA)

A Dayton, OH native, Kayla is a National Board Certified Physician Assistant working alongside Dr. Urse and Dr. Saunders. She attended The University of Dayton and received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Wright State University, graduating with high honors in 2015. She received her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.

Having spent majority of her life playing sports, Kayla has always had a passion for orthopedics. She promises to provide optimal patient care by evaluating, diagnosing, and discussing treatment options in great detail. In her spare time, she enjoys running, kayaking, boating, and spending time with family.

She currently sees patients at the Yankee, Little York, and Liberty Township offices.
