Lauren is a board certified Physician Assistant who works with Dr.Propst treating disorders of the spine. She enjoys educating patients about both nonsurgical and surgical treatments for neck and back issues to help improve function and quality of life. She strives to make sure that her patients have a thorough understanding of their condition and treatment options.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech and her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest School of Medicine. Lauren also has an interest in research. While in PA school, she worked with her master's thesis group to develop tourniquet use and monitoring guidelines in the prehospital setting. This research was chosen to be presented at the Special Operations Medical Association Scientific Assembly in 2014. She believes that it is important to incorporate evidence based medicine into treatment plans in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
She belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants and the Organization for Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
She sees patients at the Little York and Yankee office locations.
